Official VQ-3 Ironmen Halloween Patch

Official VQ-3 Ironmen Halloween Patch — US Navy Fleet Air Reconnaissance Squadron Holiday Embroidered Patch

The Ironmen celebrate Halloween — strategic communications never take a holiday.

Fleet Air Reconnaissance Squadron 3 (VQ-3) "Ironmen" operates the E-6B Mercury, the U.S. Navy's airborne command post and communications relay platform that provides the critical survivable communication link to the nation's nuclear submarine fleet. VQ-3 is part of the Take Charge and Move Out (TACAMO) community, ensuring that national command authority can communicate launch orders to ballistic missile submarines even if ground-based systems are destroyed. This Halloween patch adds seasonal flair to one of the Navy's most strategically vital squadrons.

Perfect For:
VQ-3 Ironmen personnel, E-6B Mercury aircrew, TACAMO community members, strategic communications specialists, and Halloween seasonal patch collectors.

Ironmen. Happy Halloween. TACAMO.
