Officially Licensed US Navy HC-5 Providers Squadron Patch

Officially Licensed US Navy HC-5 Providers Squadron Patch — Helicopter Combat Support Squadron Embroidered Patch

The Providers — the Navy's forward-deployed combat support helicopter squadron in the Pacific.

Helicopter Combat Support Squadron 5 (HC-5), the "Providers," was a U.S. Navy helicopter squadron based at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, providing vertical replenishment (VERTREP), search and rescue, medical evacuation, and combat support across the Western Pacific. HC-5 operated the CH-46D Sea Knight and later the MH-60S Knighthawk, deploying detachments aboard ships throughout the Pacific Fleet. The Providers were the only forward-deployed combat support helicopter squadron in the Navy, giving them a unique role in sustaining fleet operations across the vast distances of the Pacific Ocean. HC-5 was redesignated as HSC-25 "Island Knights" as part of the Navy's helicopter community realignment.

Perfect For:
HC-5 Providers veterans, HSC-25 Island Knights personnel, Pacific Fleet helicopter crews, Guam-based Navy aviation members, and USN legacy squadron patch collectors.

Providers. The Pacific's lifeline.
